How It Works
How the Board Is Chosen
- The board has nine members, elected by the membership.
- Elections are held every November by secret ballot.
- Each director serves a three-year term before standing for re-election.
- At its December meeting the board elects a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, who serve from January through December of the following year.
- Any member in good standing can be elected to the board.
- Vacancies are filled by appointments made by the president and approved by the board.
